1st Haircut

Today started off like any other day. We woke up, went out to pee, had some breakfast, played with my new toy and then I was surprised to find out that I was going for a car ride. Awesome!!! Oh.....wait....I've never been on this route before.....where are we going......uhoh. Last time they did this I woke up and they had taken my manhood. Crap I fell for it!! They say "Gus, you wanna go for a ride, go in the car". I just can't resist. Well sure enough they took me to some lady's house who's name is Lynda. She seems pretty nice, but why is there a Miniature Schnauzer leashed up in the bath tub. Why is there a table in the middle of the room, and why are there all these sharp, shiny instruments all over. I find out that this Schnauzer is her own dog and he is getting his weekly bath. I guess this doesn't seem so bad, as long as they don't leave me......hey wait where are you going.....you can't leave me!!!!!!
I can't believe this. Well as long as I'm here I guess I'll see what this Lynda lady has to say. She actually turned out to be pretty nice. She gave me a bath and then we got to cutting. Wow does this feel good. She told me that my mom and dad should have gotten me in about a month ago for a hair cut, and that I was like a woolly bear.
Finally my mom and nana came and picked me up. They were so excited to see me and I was soooo excited to see them and show them my new hair cut. I have been told that I'm super soft now, and very cute. Well long story longer, I got to go home. Here are some new pictures of me and my new hair cut. I'm told that this is what adult Wheatens look like.

The new addition to the Santerre Family...

As of this coming Tuesday, I will be 12 weeks pregnant. We will be at the end of the first trimester.

This past Wed. Jan. 7th, we went to hear the heartbeat for the first time. It was really kind of surreal. We first asked the Dr. if that was it when he first put the device onto my belly. He said, "nope thats yours". We kind of chuckled. In the movies it's that loud. I guess we expected that it would just be right there and we'd have no question that is what we heard. Well we were wrong. While Jed and I listened very intently and me not really breathing so I could hear, both heard little flutters we thought were the heartbeat. They could have been. Baby must have been moving around quite a bit since the Dr. had a hard time following it after he heard it the first time. But as he said, with his trained ear, everything is great and we should be out of the woods for any mishaps. Thank God!

Please keep us in your prayers that everything continues as it should.

Hopefully we'll keep up to date a little bit more now that we have some exciting things happening and it's not all about Gus. =) Although if you lived with him you'd probably find him as exciting as we do.
